I am writing a series of children's books, styled around two anthropomorphic hedgehogs who have fun and adventures in the garden they call their own, namely Prickly Hedge.  Through the stories and their adventures, they learn how best to help all their wildlife friends.  It is hoped that this will inspire young readers to engage more with wildlife and hopefully begin to not only help preserve it but create habitats in which it can thrive.

A 60+ mum of two adult boys, both of whom work in the fast-paced IT and coding worlds,; I have been very happily married for over 30 years and have a long career behind me in business administration, gained from experience and qualifications from the Institute of Administrative Management.

In my ‘spare’ time I enjoy reading Tudor fiction, personal development books, genealogy, gardening, craft work, DIY and live theatre (another lifelong passion of musicals).

A life-long learner, a big fan of the late-great Stephen Covey, I have studied personal development, pyschology, behaviour modification as well being a Certified Law of Attraction Practitioner.  My day job before children was a Personal Assistant and since having been self-employed, I have also worked as a VA and run an Amazon business sourcing from China and selling direct to the States.

Prickly Hedge

saving urban hedgehogs...

A lifetime nature lover, two of my passions are bees and hedgehogs.  I am the local street co-ordinator for ‘Hedgehog Street’ – an organisation set up to highlight and help the decline in the native British hedgehog, by opening up access through urban gardens for these lovable creatures to roam more freely.

Spirituality - "Namaste"

The light within me acknowledges the light within you.

Many years ago, I was miraculously healed by angels and my already avid interest in spirituality was enhanced by becoming a Certified Angel Card Reader and Law of Attraction Practitioner, I am also attuned to and self-heal with Reiki.

For me, spirituality is connecting the external with the internal.  I love nature, it's refreshing, empowering and humbling at one and the same time.  I strive to be a lightworker; I aim to bring love and light into all that I do.

An empathic, I am always ready to listen both to others and, as importantly, to myself.

Connect with me on my Facebook page.

With a lifelong interest in genealogy, I am passionate about empowering people to preserve and present their heritage in a way that inspires, instructs and excites the younger generation.
